With offices in Leeds and London in the UK, and in Boston and Philadelphia in North America, Maney publishes extensively for learned societies, universities and professional bodies around the world.  They were experiencing major problems in controlling and accessing data between their offices. Their remote users were not able to efficiently and securely communicate between offices and their current IT support was not responding quickly enough.

Maney Publishing approached ISL Technology Group seeking assistance in implementing a solution which would give them greater control over their data for each office, improve remote communications for all users and provide fast response technical support.

The solution:
ISL designed, procured and implemented a network system integrating new HP Servers, Microsoft Windows Server O/S, Citrix Access software, CISCO routers and appliances and fast dedicated leased lines.  ISL project managed all areas of this solution liaising with Industry partners and Maney staff over a 6 month period to implement a solution with minimal disruption to Maney’s business. ISL also provided an ongoing support contract to meet Maney’s business needs.

The result:
Maney’s instantly experienced improved performance and productivity across all offices. Company data could be securely accessed from any office or remote location. Communication across the company was greatly enhanced. Any IT issues were dealt with much more quickly and efficiently and downtime was dramatically reduced.
