Windows 7 is where we are...but where did we come from?

In 1985, Windows 1 was launched - if it had been left to Bill Gates, it would have actually been called 'Interface Manager'! He had previously pitched the software to Atari as a potential front end for their ST - but Atari didn't want it! The system requirements for Windows 1.0 were 256KB of RAM, DOS 2.0 and two floppy drives... Below are some of the main generations that you may have used yourself!
